Zebra Mantis (O. zebrata)
is on back order
The Zebra mantis (Omomantis zebrata) is native to southern Africa fairly new to the US hobby, but no worries, like all our mantises, these are captive bred! They are becoming very popular because of the stunning appearance of the adult wings, which feature brownish red stripes and yellow eye spots, over bright green wings!
Even though these are new to the US hobby, they are proving themselves to be a very friendly, inquisitive, and easy to care for species!
The ideal temperature for this species is about 80°F, but they can tolerate a range between 75°F and 85°F. Humidity should be kept between 40% and 60% relative humidity (RH).
The mantises currently for sale are L5/L6. They are currently eating house flies and small blue bottle flies, so be sure to have the proper prey items on hand when your mantis arrives.

THIS MANTIS IS NOT NATIVE TO THE U.S. AND IS NOT TO BE RELEASED OUTDOORS!
